AI-Generated Content in Grunlo
Any time you see the small AI badge in Grunlo, the content next to it was generated by an AI model — not hand-written or directly measured. This page explains what that means, where it appears, and how we try to keep it safe.
Where AI is used today
- AI Customer Summary — a 2–3 sentence summary of a customer, generated from the facts already on their page (tier, cadence, signals, balance, recent activity).
- Property Intelligence — aerial and lot analysis produced by computer-vision models (pool / trees / hedges detection, tree canopy %, lawn / hardscape splits). Lot size and building footprint come from deterministic provider data and are not AI.
Any future AI-generated surface will carry the same badge.
Our guardrails
- Never invent numbers. AI models are instructed to skip facts they don't have rather than guess.
- Usage caps. Each account has daily usage limits. If a limit is reached, the page falls back to a standard summary (no AI) and continues to work normally.
- Full audit trail. Every AI request is logged so our team can investigate issues quickly.
- Caching. Summaries are cached (typically 24 hours) and only regenerated when the underlying data actually changes.
AI can be wrong — always verify
Language models and computer-vision models make mistakes. Treat AI-generated content as a starting point, not the final word. Before acting on it:
- Cross-check the specific numbers or claims against the source data on the page.
- Use your own judgement for anything customer-facing (emails, estimates, invoices).
- If you spot a recurring issue, report it — we can tune prompts or disable the feature.
How to turn AI off
Each AI feature can be disabled individually. If you prefer not to use AI-generated content, contact support to turn off specific AI features for your account. The AI badge disappears and the page continues to work with a standard fallback where one exists.
