AI Customer Summary

AI Customer Summary

The AI Summary at the top of each customer page is a short, plain-English summary of what matters most about that customer right now. It covers three things, in order:

  1. Snapshot — who they are and their value (tier, cadence, lifetime revenue).
  2. Next best action — what to do next (rebook, pitch, follow up).
  3. Risks & opportunities — open balance, overdue invoices, service decay, or a clear cross-sell.

How it's generated

We pass the same facts you see on the customer page — LTV, open signals, recent jobs, financials, reviews, recommendations — into a language model and ask it to write two or three sentences. We never invent numbers; if a field is missing, it's skipped.

Caching

Summaries are cached for 24 hours so repeat visits are instant and costs stay low. We also hash the underlying facts — if something meaningful changes (a new job, an overdue invoice, a new signal), the summary regenerates automatically on your next visit, even within the 24-hour window.

Refresh

The Refresh button next to the summary forces a regeneration. To protect your spend budget, refresh is rate-limited to once per minute per customer per user.

When AI isn't available

If your plan does not include AI Customer Summaries, or if the daily spend cap has been hit, you'll still see a short summary on the customer page — it's built deterministically from the same facts, no language model required.
