Multi-Day Jobs

Some work cannot finish in a single shift. Grunlo models these as a parent job with child day-jobs — one schedulable unit per calendar day.

How it appears

• On the schedule calendar, each day segment shows as its own card with a Day X / Y badge.
• The parent summary lives on the main job record for quoting, notes, and financial rollup.

Scheduling and routing

• Each child day is assigned and routed like any other job.
• Route optimization sequences stops per day; multi-day parents do not appear as a single oversized block on the map.

Invoicing and estimates

Line items and totals typically belong to the job as a whole; invoicing behavior follows your invoicing rules when work completes. If you reopen or defer segments, see Deferring and Rescheduling.
