Staff Schedule Templates

Staff schedule templates capture repeating weekly hours (/staff-schedules/templates). Assign them to people or crews with effective dates to define baseline availability.

Templates vs overrides

• Templates — standing pattern (e.g. Mon–Fri 7–4).
• Overrides — single-day changes for holidays, doctor visits, or overtime blocks (Staff Scheduling).
• Assume shift — emergency clock entry when someone forgot to punch.
