Scheduling Cost Model

Under Settings, the Scheduling & Time Clock card controls operational assumptions used when comparing scheduled hours to clocked time and when firing schedule alerts.

Typical settings

• Lunch / break deduction — minutes subtracted from gross scheduled time when estimating labor vs schedule (exact field labels appear in your settings UI).
• Clock-in grace — how long after a scheduled start time before a missed clock-in alert appears for managers.

These values interact with Staff Scheduling, Time Clock, and field tech clock punches.

Tips

• Tighten grace periods during busy seasons when punctuality matters; loosen them when crews face unpredictable drive times.
