Customer Payments

Customer Payments

When you send an invoice, your customer receives an email with a secure link to view and pay it online. No account or app download is required.

The customer payment experience

  1. The customer receives an email with the invoice summary and a View & Pay button.
  2. Clicking the button opens a secure invoice page showing line items, totals, and due date.
  3. The customer clicks Pay Now and enters their card details.
  4. Payment is processed instantly and a confirmation is shown.
  5. Both you and the customer receive a payment confirmation email.

Accepted payment methods

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • ACH bank transfers (if enabled in your Stripe settings)

For customers: viewing past invoices

If you've received a payment link from your service provider, you can:

  • View the invoice at any time using the link from your email.
  • Download a PDF copy for your records.
  • See payment status and history.

For business owners: tracking payments

From Billing → Invoices, you can see the status of every invoice:

  • Filter by Paid, Sent, Overdue, or Draft.
  • Click any invoice to see payment details including date, amount, and transaction ID.
  • Export your invoice history for bookkeeping.

Tips

  • Customers don't need to create an account to pay — the link in the email is all they need.
  • If a customer has trouble paying, resend the invoice from the invoice detail page to send a fresh email.
