Estimate Optimization & Price Assistant
Estimate Optimization & Price Assistant
Estimate optimization tools help you understand your pricing performance and make data-driven adjustments. See which services convert best, discover optimal price points, and run targeted price adjustment campaigns.
Requirements
- Estimate Optimization must be enabled on your plan.
- You need the marketing.quote_optimization.view permission to see analytics, and marketing.quote_optimization.manage to run campaigns.
Estimate analytics
Navigate to Growth Tools → Estimate Analytics to see your estimate performance. For a dedicated Help walkthrough, see Estimate Analytics.
Win rate dashboard
- Win rate by service — see which services have the highest and lowest approval rates.
- Price buckets — understand how pricing affects conversion at different ranges.
- Segments — break down performance by customer type or property.
- Date range — analyze the last 7 to 365 days (default: 90 days).
Optimal price suggestions
For services with enough historical data, the system identifies an optimal price point — the price range where you win the most estimates while maintaining healthy margins. Up to 3 services are highlighted with specific suggestions.
Service detail
Click any service to see a detailed breakdown with its own optimal price recommendation and win rate trends over a configurable date range (default: 180 days).
Refreshing data
Click Run analysis to update the analytics with the latest estimate data. A 30-day rollup runs immediately, and a deeper 180-day analysis is queued in the background.
Bundle suggestions
When creating or editing an estimate, the system can suggest service bundles based on what customers commonly purchase together. Up to 3 bundle suggestions appear in the estimate builder when relevant.
Price increase assistant
Navigate to Growth Tools → Price Assistant to identify customers who are paying below your current market rate.
Finding below-market customers
- Set the Below market threshold (default: 15%). This shows customers paying at least that percentage below your current catalog price.
- Review the list of customers and services with below-market pricing.
Running a price adjustment campaign
- Click Create Campaign.
- Enter a campaign name and set the below-market threshold.
- Choose a channel: Email, SMS, or Both.
- Write a script template — the message customers will receive explaining the adjustment.
- Select the customers and services to include.
- Save and review the recipient list.
- When ready, click Send. You'll see a summary of delivered, failed, and skipped messages.
Tips
- Review estimate analytics monthly to spot pricing trends before they become problems.
- Start price adjustment campaigns with a small group to test your messaging before scaling up.
- Use bundle suggestions to increase average estimate value — customers appreciate the convenience of bundled services.
- A 15% below-market threshold is a good starting point; adjust based on your market and customer relationships.
