Review Requests
Review Requests
When a job is completed, you can automatically send customers a link to leave a review. Reviews help build your reputation and appear on your public landing page.
Requirements
- Review Requests must be enabled on your plan.
- Feedback requests must be turned on in your settings.
How review requests are sent
When you mark a job as Completed and the customer has notifications enabled:
- A job completed email is sent to the customer. If review requests are enabled, the email includes a Leave a Review link.
- If review SMS is also enabled, a separate text message with the review link is sent.
The review link takes the customer to a branded page where they can leave a star rating (1–5) and a written comment. Each customer can leave one review per job.
Setting up review requests
Enable feedback
- Go to Settings → Feedback & Referrals.
- Toggle Enable feedback requests on.
Enable review SMS (optional)
- Go to Settings → Notification Preferences.
- Under SMS notifications, make sure Review request SMS is turned on.
This sends a text message in addition to the email. The SMS is only sent if the customer has a phone number and SMS consent.
Add your Google Review URL (optional)
- In Settings → Feedback & Referrals, enter your Google Review URL.
- After a customer leaves an in-app review, they'll be prompted to also leave a review on Google.
This helps you build your Google Business Profile rating alongside your in-app reviews.
Viewing reviews
Go to Reports → Reviews to see all customer reviews:
- Average rating and total review count.
- Individual reviews with star rating, comment, customer name, and date.
- Filter to see recent trends.
Reviews rated 4 stars and above also appear on your public landing page.
Tips
- Don't wait — review requests are most effective when sent right after a completed job while the experience is fresh.
- Adding a Google Review URL lets you build your Google reputation in the same flow at no extra effort.
- If a customer leaves a low rating, follow up personally. Addressing concerns can turn a negative experience into a loyal customer.
Troubleshooting
Customers aren't receiving review requests. Check that Enable feedback requests is on in Settings → Feedback & Referrals, and that the customer has a valid email address and notifications enabled. Also verify that Review Requests is included in your plan.
The review SMS isn't sending. SMS review requests are a separate toggle under Settings → Notification Preferences. Make sure it's enabled and that the customer has SMS consent.
