Price snow without guessing in the dark at 4 a.m.
Plug in the area you're clearing, how you clear it, your travel time, and what you need per hour. We'll show a per-push price floor, a recommended band, and a seasonal contract estimate — on your numbers, not a made-up average.

How the math works.
Production rates by method
Time on site comes from a clearing rate that varies by equipment. These are rough single-operator benchmarks for an average snowfall — deep or wet snow is slower:
- Shovel / hand crew: ~150 sq ft / min
- Snow blower: ~450 sq ft / min
- Truck / ATV plow: ~2,000 sq ft / min
Storm severity, snow depth, drifting, and where you stack the snow all change real-world time. Calibrate with a stopwatch on your first few storms.
Per-push price
Total billable time is on-site minutes plus travel minutes. Convert to hours, multiply by your target hourly rate, then add salt/de-icing materials. That’s your per-push price floor before margin.
Why snow margins run higher than mowing
Snow work happens at night, in the cold, on a deadline, with real slip-and-fall liability. We show a +20% recommended and +40% premium band — wider than lawn care — to reflect the urgency, equipment wear, and risk you’re carrying.
Seasonal contracts
A seasonal price trades your risk for the customer’s predictability. We estimate it as recommended per-push × expected pushes × 0.9 — a 10% discount in exchange for guaranteed revenue whether it snows 8 times or 20. A light winter is your profit; a brutal one is your risk, so set expected pushes conservatively and read your local snowfall history.
When the storm hits, software keeps the route straight.
Route optimization
Order a storm route by priority and drive time so the commercial lots that must be clear by open get hit first — without a whiteboard at 3 a.m.
